The Catalytic Power of Investing in Women

The Primary purpose of the Foundation shall be to oversee the Portland Women's Foundation Fund; and, to grant financial assistance to agencies in our community that address the needs of women.

The Portland Women’s Foundation (PWF) currently funds housing and education programs that impact and improve the lives of women in metropolitan Portland Oregon, including Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties.

It is widely recognized that investments in women can transform and accelerate positive, systemic, lasting social and economic change.

By funding small, grassroots programs, our Foundation often steps in where larger foundations do not.

Our thoughtful approach ensures that the grants we provide empower women to become independent and self-sustaining.

For over 125 years, we have believed that investing in women is crucial to the well being of our greater Portland community.
